Seventh graders from surrounding schools and home school students are invited to participate on a space available basis. Students participate in hands-on sessions put on by volunteers from business and industry who provide insight into why skills in science, math, and technology are important in their career field.

GCCC Exploration Day

For high school students in eleventh and twelfth grades, Exploration Day gives students from all over south west Kansas a chance to come to GCCC for a day. Students sign up to participate in areas that are of interest to them and spend the day participating in exploratory activities that increase their understanding of the types of things they will learn if they decide on that field as a major when they come to GCCC after high school.
